PostHeaderIcon The Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation

Hi All,

I am taking part in a charity cycle ride in a couple of weeks for the Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation. The Oakley Waterman Caravan Foundation is an organisation focused on giving families with children, who have life threatening illnesses, some respite allowing them to enjoy some quality time with the whole family.

Oakley sadly pass away in 2005, age 6, due to a rare form of cancer. Oakley’s father David, and I grew up together and are still very good friends, so I was very close to the family through the difficult times they had. With this in mind the charity is very close to my heart and the times we spent at the Caravan park are irreplaceable.

So, I would be grateful if you could read the attachment and also sponsor me for this cycle, as every penny helps!!

Although Oakley’s family are originally from Guernsey the foundation is for the benefit for all channel Island children and families so I would be grateful if friends from both islands contributed!!

Please e-mail me and let me know.

Thank you in advance for any sponsorship.
